DIY architectural paper studies

A collection of architectural paper structures built using different approaches. Some are based on kirigami, using a single sheet with only cuts and folds, while others are assembled from multiple parts.

The Archetypes are more abstract, conceived as spatial studies, while the Houses are closer to recognizable buildings.

Files are provided in PDF, SVG, and DXF formats for hand cutting or use with machines like Cricut and Silhouette.

While entirely possible to build by hand, using a machine can help.

Architecture Set No.2

This set includes highly sculptural and architectural models.

Spinning Stairs is a direct reinterpretation of one of my concrete works, and Settlement was a study for another piece. It uses tabs instead of notches, introducing a different assembly system that is easier to cut and allows multi-part assemblies.

This is one of the sets I enjoyed creating the most, rooted in my modern architecture upbringing. It includes eight models.

Not the easiest, I’ll admit, but very achievable with patience and attention to detail.
