This model is the first release in my Collector Series—a collection of detailed and intricate paper sculptures designed for you to create at home.
For the past 15 years, I’ve been crafting one-of-a-kind metal and concrete architectural sculptures, collaborating with galleries, private collectors, and art consultants. This work has been my life’s passion. However, the bespoke nature of these creations makes them both exclusive and expensive, limiting their accessibility.
With this series, my goal is to make my art more accessible while preserving its essence. Although paper is a far cry from concrete and metal, the core of my work remains the same. Each sculpture originates from self-imposed challenges—whether technical, visual, or philosophical. With this series, I’ve taken on an additional challenge: to convey and simplify the creation process, enabling you, the collector, to bring the piece to life.
Education has always been a part of my practice—sharing techniques and processes is integral to what I do. This set gives you everything you need to recreate the artwork yourself.
This model is more intricate than my previous cut-and-fold sets but remains achievable for everyone.
Materials Needed:
To build this sculpture, you’ll need 7 sheets of cardstock paper. Two layout sizes are included, each with its recommended paper weight:
· Letter/A4: Medium cardstock (80 lb / 196 gsm)
· 12x12 in / 30x30 cm: Heavy cardstock (110 lb / 300 gsm)
Note that no glue is required for assembly.
What’s Included in the set:
· Detailed step-by-step assembly instructions in PDF format
· Template files in PDF format for printing and cutting with a precision knife
· Template files in DXF vector format
· Template files in SVG vector format
With these templates, a printer, and a craft knife, you can create your own paper sculpture at home. If you have a cutting machine like a Cricut or Silhouette, the included vector files will make the process even easier.
